HA NOI (VNS) — Viet Nam U19 tied with Coventry City U19 1-1 in the third friendly match in the UK yesterday.
Vu Van Thanh opened the score for Viet Nam in the 10th minute. However, the hosts levelled the score 16 minutes later.
As planned, Viet Nam will meet Tottenham U19 on March 18 and Wolverhampton U19 on March 20 before going to Belgium, the next leg of their European tour.
In their first friendly match, Viet Nam beat Arsenal 3-0 and tied with Wimbledon U19 2-2 in the second match. — VNS

HA NOI (VNS) — Viet Nam's U19 lost 1-2 in a friendly match with a team of players from Ghana and Belgium's Arsenal JMG Academy in Belgium yesterday. Viet Nams under-19 team defeated hosts Arsenal 3-0 in their first European training tour on March 5 in London. Striker Nguyen Cong Phuong scored two goals in the first half and Captain Xuan Truong netted one in the second half. Their next match is against U19 Wimbledon on March 10. The Vietnamese U19 team lost 4-0 to Uzbekistan in their first match at the Asian Football Confederation U19 Championships in Ras Al Khaimah City, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Sunday. (VNS) Viet Nam will face Laos in the second semi-final of the ASEAN U19 Football Championships today in Indonesia. On Wednesday, Viet Nam beat Brunei 6-1 in the last group stage match with a dominating performance at the annual tournament. Viet Nam finished top of Group B having won all five of their matches.
