The Danang Hi-Tech Park will enhance the economic competitiveness of the region and the whole country, attract foreign investment, and develop the high-tech industrial clusters. In particular, the high-tech park will develop toward green growth, low carbon emissions (CO2) and will be an integrated urban environment including the natural environment, cultural and creative industries using ecological technology.
With this orientation, participants said that Da Nangneeds more efforts to build strategic planning for Da Nang Hi-tech Park. The Da Nang Hi-tech Park is the third one of the country and is formed after two other high-tech parks in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
In the future, Da Nang Hi-tech Park will become an attractive destination for investors at home and abroad, create motivation for the development of sciences and technology in Da Nang city in particular and Central Highlands in general. Da Nang Hi-tech Park is located in Hoa Lien Commune and Ninh Hoa Commune, Hoa Vang district. The Hi-tech park is about 22km from the city center, 17 km from Da NangInternationalAirport
and 25 km from Tien Sa Seaport. Its total planning areas is 1,129.76 hectares including the functional sections: high technology production, research and development, training and business incubation; administration and management, logistics and high-tech services.
Up to now, the city of Da Nanghas built the master plan to 2020. To 2050, Da Nang will become the national-level city towards sustainable development.
