(Cinet)– On November 12, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) have re-recognized the Dong Van Karst Plateau Geo-Park in the northernmost mountainous province of Ha Giang as a member of the Global Network of National Geoparks for the 2015-2018 period. In recent years, with close attention and guidance of Ha Giang Provincial People's Committee, the efforts of the Management Board of the Dong Van Karst Plateau Global Geopark and relevant sectors, and with the support of ministries and central agencies, on February 7th 2013, the Prime Minister issued Decision 310/QD-TTg approving the "Master plan to preserve, restore and promote the value of Dong Van Karst Plateau" period 2012 - 2020, vision to 2030".
