(VOVworld) – The Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam, Tanizaki Yasuaki, has said that Vietnamese – Japanese relations have originated from mutual understanding between the two peoples, who share a common development.
Ambassador Tanizaki made the statement at Tuesday’s international seminar to review 40 years of bilateral ties and set future goals for future development with the attendance of professors and doctors from Japan’s Universities of Senshu and Ibaraki and scholars from Vietnamese institutes and universities. The Ambassador noted that over the next decade, both will continue cooperation based on mutual trust to ensure regional security, particularly increasing the awareness among and exchanges between both countries’ young people.
The seminar is one of a variety of activities to mark the 40 years of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan.
