The event is co-organized by the German Business Association (GBA), the Movenpick Hotel Hanoi and KBT- the exclusive distributor for German Bitburger Beer in Vietnam.
Organizers expect to attract more than 3,000 visitors, making the Oktoberfest the largest German cultural festive activity in the capital city. In Ho Chi Minh city, the Oktoberfest is already ranked amongst the top 10 Oktoberfests outside of Munich, according to the Reuters News Agency.
“Under the patronage of the German Embassy in Hanoi, we are proud that the Oktoberfest in Vietnam became so popular amongst Vietnamese and the entire foreign community in the nation, as a culture channel connecting each other with excitement. This year’s Oktoberfest Hanoi promises to be even bigger and more exciting, and we expect sold out crowds on both event days”, said Mr Elmar Dutt, GBA Chairman in a press briefing held in Hanoi on September 19.
The Oktoberfest definitely recreates the authentic atmosphere found in the massive beer halls of the original Oktoberfest, complete with savory German cuisine, premium imported German brews and great party mood with very authentic Bavarian music from Munich band “Gaudiblosn”.
Visitors will also have an opportunity to experience the sumptuous array of traditional German foods prepared by the talented culinary team from the Movenpick Hotel Hanoi, as well as specially brewed German Bitburger Beer.
The event is also a perfect combination between culture and cuisine which meets the expectations of fans who are keen on learning the best of German culture, from German football, German cars to No 1 German beer.
