Entitled Lotus Bloom in the Stream of Literature, thebook features pieces by Vietnamese writers representing three regions,including Nguyen Khoa Diem, Ta Duy Anh and Nguyen Ngoc Tu, together withthose by Thai writers like Jadej Kamjorndet and Nikom Rayawa.
The book is in three languages, Vietnamese, Thai and English.
“The book marks a new development in literature cooperation betweenthe two countries,” said poet Huu Thinh, chairman of Vietnam WritersAssociation, “It is also a desire of writers in the two countries.”

The agreement was reached during high-level talks in Hanoi on July 10 between Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and his Thai counterpart Abhisit Vejjajiva who made a visit to Vietnam the same day.
