HA NOI (VNS)— President Truong Tan Sang yesterday received the newly appointed Ambassadors from the Republic of Korea (RoK) and the Argentine Republic, who came to present their credentials.
At the reception for the RoK’s Ambassador Jun Dae-joo, President Sang said he believed that with his 18 years experience of living in Viet Nam, Jun is the ideal person to put forward new initiatives that further the strategic partnership between both countries.
While meeting with Argentina’s Ambassador Claudio Ricardo Gutierrez, Sang stated that the Vietnamese Government would create the best possible conditions for Ambassador Gutierrez to perform his job during his mission in Viet Nam.
Yesterday, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung had a farewell meeting with Indian Ambassador to Viet Nam Ranjit Rae who has pledged that he will keep working to ensure the Viet Nam-India friendship remains prosperous for both nations.
Later the same day, the Indian ambassador was also received by Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan. — VNS
