(VOVworld) – An exchange program for Vietnamese and Lao youths opened in Tuyen Quang province on Tuesday night.
Phan Van Mai, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union’s Central Committee, highlighted the importance of the program, which affirms the determination of young generations to inherit and promote the traditional relations between the two parties and states. He said:“This is an opportunity for the Youth Unions and the youths to strengthen mutual understanding. I hope that this year’s event will cement the friendly relationship between the two countries”
The same day, participants visited historical and cultural relic site Tan Trao, a historical relic site of the Lao revolution in My Bang commune and presented gifts to Vietnamese who were devoted to the Lao revolution.
