Police officers killed one of 28 drug traffickers during a shootout and seized 56kg of heroin after detecting an armed drug trafficking group illegally entering Vietnam via the Vietnamese-Lao border on Sunday night. Police in the northern city of Hai Phong have cracked down on an interprovincial drug trafficking ring, detaining three drug traffickers who possessed six guns and 47 bullets.
