Local police havecoordinated closely with Catholic followers to successfully implementthe model of “Three-no: no crime, no drug and no prostitution” in thedistrict’s parishes, a meeting heard in Vinh Thanh on July 4.
Following a maxim of leading a good life, respecting God and loving thecountry, 98 percent of Catholic households in the district have beenofficially recognised as model families by local authorities.
Vinh Thanh district is home to about 46,000 Catholics, who belong to the Long Xuyen Diocese.-VNA
