The exhibition is part of commemorations for the 40th anniversary of Vietnam-Bangladesh diplomatic ties.
The five featured female Bangladeshi artists Kanak Chanpa Chakma, Maksuda Iqbal Nipa, Bipasha Hayat, Shameem Subrana, and Samina Nafies are displaying a total of 30 paintings.
All five painters have their individual styles. Kanak Chanpa Chakma is renowned for oil paintings depicting the lives of Bangladeshi ethnic minorities.
Bipasha Hayat’s abstract work captures a gentle harmony. She is also a scriptwriter, theatre director, and actress.
Samina Nafies celebrates traditions from rural pottery.
Shameem Subrana focuses on vibrant colour manipulation.
Maksuda Iqbal Nipa’s abstract paintings use oil to evoke Bangladesh’s emotional landscapes.
The exhibition will last through to June 7.
