PANO – The Party Committee Secretary and Governor of Lao Attapeu Province Khamphan Phommathath, on June 7th, handed over Lao orders, medals and insignias to 18 groups and 34 individuals in the Vietnamese province of Gia Lai.
The awards are to recognize their contributions to building and fostering the relations between Vietnam and Laos in general, as well as between Gia Lai and Attapeu provinces in particular.
Delivering a speech, Mr. Khamphan Phommathath said that he will promote the friendship between the two provinces to contribute to consolidating the two nations’ special traditional friendship.

The northern province of Ha Nam on November 30th held a ceremony to present Lao Orders and Medals to volunteers and military experts in the province. Vietnamese volunteers, during the wars, overcome innumerable hardships and difficulties to struggle side by side with Lao armed forces.
