The event will be joined by many choirs from Vietnam, Indonesia, the Republic of Korea, Australia, Taiwan (China), Malaysia and the US.
At the opening ceremony, Chau Anh will conduct a performance by 700 singers from all participating choirs, who are scheduled to present the “International Melody” to local people and tourists apart from their official competition.
Anh will work together with other jury members from Germany, the Republic of Korea and Myanmar.
As a teacher of the Vietnam National Academy of Music, she was chosen as a jury member of the second Int’l Choir Competition in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue last year.
THUA THIEN - HUE (VNS)- The German-based organisation Interkultur is working with the central province of Thua Thien - Hue to prepare for an international choir competition to take place in the former royal city of Hue from December 12 to 15. The Philippines’ La Salle Chorale was named the winner of the event on Saturday evening, after four days of outstanding performances in five different categories.
