Trang Trinh, a Master graduate of the Royal Academy of Music (UK), will perform her first solo concert, “Piano Diary,” at the Hanoi Opera House on February 23. The 25-year-old- pianist, also known as Trinh Mai Trang, said that the show will feature the ups and downs in human life through select compositions by Mozart and Beethoven. Together with the traditional symphony orchestra, “Piano Diary” will bring a new approach to classical music through stage arrangements including a slide-show. Trinh is now with the London-based All Souls Orchestra, and has toured Italy, Austria, Hungary and Ireland. Trinh, who will perform in Ho Chi Minh City this April, said she wants to establish a foundation for developing Vietnamese musical talent and plans to undertake charitable activities for orphans in Hung Yen and Vinh Phuc provinces.
