Ambassador Chau in a briefing on Uncle Ho’s life and career, noted that President Ho Chi Minh was a tremendous leader and a great teacher of Vietnam’s revolutionary cause.
“He left the nation an invaluable legacy which has been passed down to many generations, he said.
President Ho Chi Minh contributed to Laos’s own revolution by providing ideas on revolutionary theory, guidelines, policies and strategies, Chau said, adding that was also the cornerstone of Vietnam and Laos’ special relationship.
In line with Uncle Ho’s teachings, many generations of Vietnamese people have stood alongside the Lao People’s Army and its people during their struggles for national independence
On the same day, the Vietnamese Embassy in Algeria hosted a meeting to celebrate President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday.
Speaking at the event, Hassani Abdelkrim, the Honorary President of the Vietnam-Algeria Friendship Association, praised Uncle Ho’s great contribution to Vietnam’s revolutionary cause.
On May 16, the staff of the Vietnamese Embassy and representative agencies in Algeria laid a wreath at Ho Chi Minh Avenue in the capital city of Algiers.
