Receiving Ambassador Georgi Vassilev, DaoDuy Quat, CPV Online Newspaper editor-in-chief, introduced the function of the newspaper, its staff as well as the achievements that it has gained during the past seven years. He also said that the newspaper attached great importance to expanding the relations with French, British and Cuban newspaper agencies, adding that he hoped the Bulgarians would help the newspaper expand the relation with Bulgarian newspapers. The Bulgarian thanked the editor-in-chief for the warm welcome, saying that he appreciated the achievements made by CPV Online Newspaper over the past decade of construction and development. He added that he regularly read CPV Online Newspaper and considered it a trustful source of news. The two Governments have signed a deal on communication cooperation; however, the exchange of information has not satisfied the demand. Therefore, the ambassador agreed to expand communication cooperation between the two countries, of which CPV Online Newspaper would contribute greatly to the cooperation. With a population of over 7 million people and over 25% of them speaking at least one foreign language, he said he hoped through CPV Online Newspaper, Bulgarian people could access orthodox information from Vietnam and have a more thorough understanding about the Vietnamese country and people.
