Tourists flock to central region

The number of tourists to the central region on the occasion of Southern Liberation Day (April 30) and May Day has increased remarkably against the previous years. In the coastal areas of Da Nang city, Cua Dai in Hoi An ancient town, Lang Co beach in Thua Thien Hue province, some hotels have been fully booked. "Don't burn!" - a film of director Dang Nhat Minh, was shown on May 1 at the Vietnam Culture Centre in Paris for a full room of nearly 100 viewers, who are both Vietnamese and French people. More than10,000 tombs in the Truong Son national cemetery for fallen soldiers was lit by candles as part of the requiem on April 24. Students hold football tourney in Moscow

Sixteen teams of Vietnamese students who are studying at more than 30 universities and colleges in Moscow entered the final round of a football tournament on April 24.
