(VOVworld)- In Hai Duong province, Cương Xá pagoda is a major religious center with unique architecture. The pagoda has become a popular destination for religious followers and tourists. Vinh Phong reports. Located 80 km from Hanoi, Cuong Xa in Hai Tan commune is one of Vietnam's most beautiful and oldest pagodas. It was first restored in the 17th century during King Le Vinh To's reign. It was later seriously damaged in war. In 1946, locals restored the pagoda for the second time. The most Venerable Thich Thanh Cuong, Head of Cuong Xa pagoda, says in 2009 the pagoda was upgraded and expanded to cover more than 360 square meters. Ngoc Trai The atlas, which is developed by ESRT experts after their field trips, research and meetings with travel companies and relevant agencies, is seen as a useful reference for tourism development in three central localities – Thua Thien-Hue, Quang Nam and Danang. The report on tourism products in the central coast indicates the current state of the tourism sector in the region, shortcomings in tourism products, and three main strategies for linking priority tourism products. The three strategies include developing the "Heritage Road" category with priority given to a museum of Cham ethnic people’s culture in Danang, Hoi An City and My Son Sanctuary in Quang Nam Province, Hue Imperial Citadel and Hue royal music in Thua Thien-Hue Province, Ngu Hanh Son Mountain in Danang, the Huong River and royal tombs in Hue. Da Nang to develop river tourism to diversify its city offerings

DA NANG (VNS) — The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City has announced that it will work with related parties to open new river tourism programmes, such as the Han River – Co Co River Tour, the Cu De River Tour, and the Han River – Tuy Loan River Tour. Tours will bring tourists visiting Cultural Village K20, Avalokitesvara Temple, Ngu Hanh Son Mountain, a stone carving village, Nam O cultural cluster, Cam Ne mat village and the Tuy Loan village temple. Vietnam Helicopter Corporation said the tour will be offered to all tourists starting April 24. The company launched its first maiden flights Tuesday, carrying its guests including Da Nang leaders for a sightseeing tour.
