(VOVworld) - A book in Russian entitled "When the first Vietnamese enters the Kremlin" by author Vu Ky was introduced in Russia on Sunday to mark the 90th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's first time in Russia. The book is a compilation of the author's records when he accompanied the president in his first official visit to Russia in 1955 and in other visits. The book was first published in Vietnamese in 1987 and it has been republished several times. The book was translated into Russian at the initiative of translator Evghenhy Pavlovic Glazunov, Honorary President of the Russia-Vietnam Friendship Association. He said: "When translating this book from the first to the last page, I was very surprised at President Ho Chi Minh's desire for knowledge. He wanted to know about everything. This is an activity of a newly launched programme entitled "Summer Move" organised by Wildlife At Risk (WAR). "Summer Move" is an annual programme that provides opportunities for university students to learn and work voluntarily at WAR's wildlife rescue facilities. The programme is for any active university student who loves nature and has certain contribution to wildlife conservation. In the programme, the students learn about wildlife, pros and cons of different jobs related to wildlife conservation. Vietjet Air and Kan Air joint-venture established

Italian artist to open exhibition in Vietnam

(CPV) - An exhibition titled "Heavy rain" by Italian artist Anna Borghi will take place from July 1-14 at the Italian House (Casa Italia) in Hanoi. Photo: The organising board Anna Borghi was born in Italy in 1980. She graduated in painting in 2004 and in Cultural Heritage in 2010 from the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera, in Milan. She started to work with galleries in 2003 while she was still student. She has won national awards and now her artworks can be found in remarkable private international collections. Anna Borghi started to work with children in 2005. She moved to Spain two years later and came to Vietnam in 2010. In Vietnam, she met children of Pho Cap school, a small school for street children located in Ho Chi Minh city.
