About 10,000 tourists visiting Phu Yen province during the national holidays of April 30th and May 1st

Vietnamese young people who have studied and are working successfully in the UK organized the exhibition. The exhibition, entitled "Hanoi: Spirit of place", includes 60 photos taken by British diplomat Mr. John Ramsden in 1981 - 1983 when he went to Hanoi for work. During this period, he took nearly 2,000 photos of daily images in Vietnam. It was the years after the war, the country was still facing difficulty, but his photographs show the optimism and confidence of the people of Vietnam. Ho Chi Minh city to provide information about Sea Law of Vietnam 2012

On June 21, 2012, the Sea Law of Vietnam 2012 was passed by the National Assembly. This is the first legal instrument covering all legal matters of seas and islands under the sovereignty of Vietnam, with 7 chapters and 55 articles. The law is effective from January 1st 2013. Students join camp on Vietnam’s sea and islands

Film on President Ho Chi Minh to be screened in Laos


A film on President Ho Chi Minh is scheduled to be screened in the neighbouring country of Laos in May, according to a decision by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The film, entitled "Ho Chi Minh, portrait of a man", will be broadcast on Lao national television. The screening is in celebration of President Ho Chi Minh's 123rd birthday on May 19. This is one of the best documentary films on the life and career of Uncle Ho published on the occasion of his 100th birthday in 1990. Building new rural areas in Cu Chi district

Morning in Tam Hiep port


More and more ships have docked at Tam Hiep port in last 6 months since it went into operation. Around 9:30 AM, Truong Hai Star ship's whistle resounded to signal it was ready to dock at Chu Lai- Truong Hai port. A freeder ship cleaved the wave toward the ship. After haft an hour of docking, cargo discharging work started. Containers of spare parts and components for assembling and manufacturing automobiles of Truong Hai auto joint stock company (THACO) were unloaded by Liebherr crane. Every 10 minutes, a tractive truck came to receive containers and brought them to the THACO' s factory. All cargo discharging works at Chu Lai- Truong Hai port have been mechanised. There were at least 150 containers in every ship, therefore, it needed a day long to unloading. After all containers discharged, Truong Hai Star ship left the port for another journey. 53 million dollars spent on cooperation in the lower Mekong region

The U.S. government has provided a $ 53 million fund to develop projects related to environment, water, health, education, connectivity, agriculture - food security and energy for 5 countries in the lower Mekong River.
