Direct flight opens between Abu Dhabi and HCMC

On October 2, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, Etihad Airways, officially opened a direct flight route from the capital city of UAE, Abu Dhabi, to Ho Chi Minh city (HCMC), Vietnam. The carrier uses A330-200 aircraft for flights connecting Abu Dhabi to HCMC with 22 business seats and 240 economy seats. Vietnam Airlines increases more flights during Tet holiday

(TITC) - From 19 Jan. to 16 Feb. 2014, Vietnam Airlines will add more flights to serve the increasing demand during Tet holiday.

The country's population was ageing rapidly and had entered the "ageing phase", with many challenges to be addressed including income insecurity, inadequate social protection and limited healthcare capacity.
