Doosan Vina held its 5th Annual One Mind Festival

On April 11th, 2015, Doosan Heavy Industries Vietnam, Dung Quit Economic Zone, Binh Thuan Commune, Binh Son District, Quang Ngai, Vietnam held the Fifth Annual One Mind Festival with a participation of 2,500 employees. ​ 300 VIP's representing government agencies, organizations as well as customers, partners and family members of employees also took part into the event. The festival began with a series of games that require strategy, skill and cooperation. Thirteen employee groups, who had practiced for weeks, took to the stage to be declared the best and take home the prize. After an action packed day the grand finale of Doosan Vina's Fifth Annual One Mind Festival was the last of the lucky draws and the crowing of the days winners. Education MOU to Make Danang University of Science and Technology Engineers Vietnams most Employable

On March 6th, Doosan Heavy Industries Vietnam, Dung Quat Economic Zone, Binh Thuan Commune, Binh Son District, Quang Ngai, Vietnam( Doosan Vina) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Da Nang University of Science and Technology that outlines the plan to make the University's engineers among the nation's most sought after human resource talent. ​ According to the MOU, Doosan Vina will award scholarship to the University's outstanding students and also recruit graduates of the University that meet the company's requirements. In addition, Doosan Vina will support the mechanical faculty with funding for equipment needs and provide transportation, lodging and meals for students who participate in training programs and internships at the company. Doosan Vina exports the first Made in Vietnam Sea Water Reverse Osmosis Desalination system

​January 13th 2015, Doosan Heavy Industries Vietnam, Dung Quat Economic Zone, Binh Thuan Commune, Binh Son District, Quang Ngai, Vietnam: Doosan Heavy Industries Viet Nam has shipped the first ever "Made in Vietnam" Sea Water Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) Desalination system for the Escondida (Chile) Water Supply project. Based in Quang Ngai, Doosan Vina made this 1,705 ton shipment on January 9th to the Escondida Copper Mine, the world's largest, which is located in the Atacama Desert of northern Chile. When completed and operational, the SWRO desalination system will supply 220 million liters of water per day, which is equivalent to the water needs of more than a half a million people. The second shipment to Chile is planned for January 18, and the final components of the SWRO system will be exported between February 15th and April 30th in four other shipments. Doosan Vina exports first shipment in 2015

The Water Doosan Vina Factory, a subsidiary of the RoK–invested Doosan Heavy Industries Vietnam Co., Ltd, has exported five units of a seawater desalination evaporator to Chile as its first shipment of 2015. The remaining units of the device will be shipped from now until end of April 2015. When assembled and put into operation, the evaporator can produce 220 million liters of purified water a day for 550,000 people working at Escondida copper mine, which is located in the northern Atacama Desert of Chile, the world’s largest copper mine. ​His Excellency Jeon Dae Joo (left) Korean Ambassador to Vietnam presented Hang Ha Ryu, Senior Vice President of DHI and CEO of Doosan Vina with the Korean MOTIE 1st place CSR award. ​ Dung Quat Economic Zone-located Doosan Heavy Industries Vietnam (Doosan Vina) has released that its total exports in 2014 reached 25,000 tons of high-tech equipment "Made in Vietnam" with a value of nearly 7.6 trillion VND or $356.5 million. Production capacity reached 106% and the company exceeded the revenue plan by 14%. Doosan Vina's products were shipped to nine countries around the world including Chile, Germany, Thailand, Turkey, Libya, Malaysia, Algeria, India, Saudi Arabia. In Vietnam, Doosan Vina provided tons of Key Mechanical Products (KMP) to Vietnamese infrastructure projects like the Mong Duong II power plant, the Port of Da Nang and several others.
