PANO - Bui Ngoc Du, who was famous for a series of victories in the war against the Americans, is now renowned for his success in economic activities and his supports for his old comrades in Mang Yang District, Gia Lai. During the war, Bui Ngoc Du was a brave, brilliant and resourceful soldier, who achieved many victories. His most remarkable victory, that later became a source of inspiration for music composer Huy Thuc to write the once-favorite song "Dong suoi La La" (La La stream), happened on February 28th, 1967. At the time, Bui Ngoc Du was the commander of a platoon of company 12, battalion 10, regiment 848, division 320. On the morning of the day, he led his platoon of 9 troops to break down all of enemy's attacks on the assigned defence point, safely protecting a friendly ammunition store. PANO – Within the framework of the ongoing ADMM+ Maneuver 2016 on maritime security and counterterrorism in Brunei, representatives of the participating delegations held meetings on May 2nd in the Multinational Coordination Center at Muara port. Delegates at the meetings discussed ideas and worked out the final draft program for steering exercises with the participation of real forces at sea and counterterrorism operations. Pham Van Dong – a knowledgeable revolutionary


PANO – Former Prime Minister Pham Van Dong started his revolutionary career when he was a very young intellect. He was born on March 1st, 1906 to an intellectual family in Duc Tan commune, Mo Duc district, Quang Ngai province. During his revolutionary career, he had several other names, such as Lam Ba Kiet, To and Tong. On the occasion of his 110th birth anniversary, PANO would like to introduce the former Prime Minister’s life and revolutionary career. Pham Van Dong was sent to study in Hue, Vietnam’s Capital City under the Nguyen dynasty.
