Electric fan is one of home appliances tagged with energy efficiency label Walking around several markets in Hanoi, we can see the increasing consumer trend of choosing to buy power saving appliances. However, apart from the ads and producer notes written on leaflets, consumers have no idea of how a power saving product looks like. In this case, the energy label is a sign to help consumers identify energy efficiency and high performance products. QUANG NINH (Biz Hub) — Construction of a five-star Sheraton hotel worth US$40 million started on October 10 in the northern Quang Ninh Province's Ha Long City, just nine days after its investors and the local authorities signed cooperative agreements. Quang Ninh officials, the Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Incorporation from the United States and the Club M Ha Long Joint Stock Company signed two agreements on October 1 to cooperate in managing and developing the Sheraton hotel. According to these agreements, the Sheraton Ha Long Bay will be constructed in the fourth quarter of this year and will be put into operation in 2017. Australia takes applications for Direct Aid Program

Australia will provide an estimated AU$89.9 million in Official Development Assistance (ODA) to Vietnam in 2015-16. DAP provides grants to NGOs, community groups and other not-for-profit entities to undertake small-scale development projects aimed at addressing humanitarian hardship and advancing developmental outcomes in disadvantaged communities. The deadline for applications is Friday October 9, 2015.
