Vietnam, Cambodia to enhance national defense cooperation

(VOVworld)- Vietnam and Cambodia have agreed to deepen bilateral cooperation in national defense, focusing on delegation exchanges, training and enhacing cooperation between military units. At their talks in Hanoi on Thursday, Vietnamese Defense Minister General Phung Quang Thanh and his Cambodian counterpart Tia Banh agreed to cooperate in searching and repatriating the remains of Vietnamese voluntary martyrs. The two sides said that the cooperation will contribute to their countries’ economic development, and to peace, and stability in the region.
