Russia, Belarus sign alliance agreements

(VOVworld)- Russia and Belarus on Wednesday signed a series of cooperation agreements within the framework of the alliance led by Russian President Vladimir Putin and Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko.

Agreements signed included “Military technology cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus until 2020″, “Cooperation to ensure international information security”, and an agreement to “Improve cooperation on fighting corruption”. The two also approved 14 other documents related to the 2014 budget of 162 million USD, the 70th anniversary of Belarus’ liberation in 2014, the 70th anniversary of Anti-fascist Victory Day in 2015 and a foreign policy action plan for 2014-2015.
