Since its establishment on April 17, 1978, CIEM has played a leading role in conducting research, providing consultancy to the Party and the State’s policy-making process.
(VOV) – The Central Institute for Economic Management (CIEM) hosted a December 30 ceremony in Hanoi to mark 35th founding anniversary and receive the Independence Order, First Class.
The institute has also made an important contribution to training economic managers and devised policies to reinforce economic and administrative reforms.
In her speech, State Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan highlighted the institute’s achievements over the past 35 years, adding that the revised Constitution has been approved by the National Assembly (NA) and will take effect from January 1, 2014. Therefore, the CIEM should continue to study and propose proper measures to help the Party and State fulfill the set targets for the 2011-2015 period.
