The information was unveiled at a press conference held at the consulate general of the Netherlands in HCMC yesterday. This is the second such festival to be held in town.

The venue will be decorated with models of some giant windmills, Amsterdam’s Schipol Airport and Rijksmuseum, the Netherlands’ national museum.

“A highlight of the event is that participants can admire numerous masterpieces by Van Gogh and Rembrandt,” said Simon van der Burg, the Dutch consul general in HCMC.

Additionally, there is a sports zone where seasonal coaches will instruct kids how to play football and a gastronomy area displaying many Dutch specialties, including frozen fish, cheese and milk.

Attendees can also enjoy Heineken bars and music areas, Unilever’s model of hygienic restroom and Philips’ LED technology; explore a typical Dutch house model; and check out a section about FrieslandCampina’s milk production in Vietnam.

The organizer also holds some seminars and exchanges on water supply, wastewater treatment, energy, agricultural cultivation and business development in Europe.
