The Centre for Press and International Communications Cooperation under the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC), the Embassy of Vietnam in Ukraine and the Overseas Vietnamese Association in Kharkov will organize a photo exhibition and film week named “Vietnam – world’s rendezvous” in Ukraine from August 30th to September 5th. This is one of key events in the external information affairs of the MIC on the occasion of the 68th anniversary of Vietnam’s National Day and 21st anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Ukraine.
The opening ceremony is organized on August 30 in the city of Kharkov, Ukraine. The leaders of the MIC and the Central Committee for Propaganda and Education, led by Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Bac Son, will attend the opening ceremony and cut the opening ribbon.
The Photo Exhibition and Film Week “Vietnam – World’s Rendezvous” 2013 includes over 200 unique photos and over 100 special documentary films produced by the Centre for Press and International Communications Cooperation under seven themes, including Vietnam’s National Assembly and government, Vietnam – integration and development, world cultural heritage in Vietnam, Vietnam’s traditional trade village, Vietnam’s festival, Vietnam’s cuisine, and Vietnam’s beauty.
This is a significant event to introduce the image of the country and people of Vietnam to the world, contributing to promoting the comprehensive partnership between Vietnam and Ukraine.
Through the exhibition, visitors will have opportunity to better understand Vietnam, which has been renovated, is rich in potential, has a long history and traditions, and is well on the path of development and integration.
After the event ends, the entire documentation of the photo exhibition and film week will be handed over to the Embassy of Vietnam and the overseas Vietnamese Association to continue to organize such events in other locations in Ukraine./.comments powered by Disqus
