PANO – A delegation of young officers of the Singapore Armed Forces visited the Naval Academy and the Air Force Officers School on August 28th and 29th, part of activities to mark the 40th anniversary of Vietnam – Singapore diplomatic ties.
At the working sessions, leaders of the two schools briefed the foreign guests on their traditions, staff, tasks and achievements over the past time.
They also exchanged their operations and education and training courses for naval officers, pilots and aeronautical technicians.
Later in the day, the Singaporean officers toured simulation command training centres, traditional houses and other facilities of the Navy Academy and the Air Force Officers School.
The same day, the Singaporean guests also joined a camp-fire and an artistic exchange with young officers and cadets of the two schools.
The Singaporean officers thanked the two schools’ leaders and troops for their warm reception and underlined that their visit to Vietnam would contribute to strengthening mutual understanding between the two countries’ armies.
