The restaurant will prepare signature dishes such as goose liver salad, seafood soup, grilled clams, stir fried beef with red wine sauce and many deserts made of chocolate and orange. The program will be set in a romantic atmosphere with piano, violin, guitar performances and French love songs.

Admission is from VND890,000++ per person, inclusive of a glass of wine.

The hotel, built in French colonial style way back in 1880, under management of Saigontourist, has welcomed celebrities such as Indian poet Rabindranath Tagore, who won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1913, French writer Andre Malreaux, English writer Graham Greene – who wrote The Quiet American about the transitional period in Vietnam between the revolution wars with the French and the U.S., French President Jacques Chirac, actress Catherine Deneuve, model Kate Moss, Malaysian Prime Minister Mohamed Mahathir and Hollywood director Phillip Noyce.

The hotel now boasts 86 rooms, which are from 40 square meters to 80 square meters wide, on three storeys on Dong Khoi Street. The luxurious Lafayette is dedicated to serve a-la-carte Western and French dishes. The hotel’s Continental Palace Restaurant is also a great place to organize weddings, birthday parties, buffet parties, cocktail receptions, exhibitions and conferences for up to 300 people, and the Continental Patio is perfect for a rendezvous and other events.

Meanwhile, Le Bourgeois in its luxurious, vintage style is dedicated to serve Western food, especially French and Italian cuisine.

The hotel also has a conference hall for enterprises and other services such as bars, gyms and massage facilities.
