Protagonist John Cale (Channing Tatum), an outstanding soldier and father, has a failed marriage behind him but tries to be a hero to his beloved daughter so he begs for an exception to take his child around the White House. He is rejected, another snub after he was also denied the chance to be a bodyguard for U.S. President James Sawyer (Jamie Foxx).

During his visit to the White House, Cale is forced into action when a heavily-armed group of terrorists try to take it over.

The movie promises to be this summer’s big blockbuster and with the participation of Tatum, Foxx, Maggie Gyllenhaal and James Woods it may just pull it off.
