HCM City will build 47 new wharfs, aiming to increase tourism along canals, according to the city’s Department of Transport.
Dozens of billions dong from the city’s budget and enterprises will be used to build the new piers. The existing piers will be upgraded.

Construction of Hai Phong road to begin in November
The construction on the Tan Vu-Lach Huyen road in northern Hai Phong City will begin in November, according to the Directorate for Roads of under the Ministry of Transport.
The project uses Official Development Assistance funds from the Japan International Cooperation Agency. It is estimated to cost VND11.849 billion (US$564 million).

Da Nang to build second IT park
The People’s Committee of central Da Nang City has agreed on a detailed plan for its second information technology park with an area of 56 hectares.
The park is located in Hoa Vang District. It includes areas for hi-tech production; research, development and training; nursing start-ups; and hi-tech services management.
