A wide range of activities are being held at the Kim Dong Cultural Centre to mark the Family Day (June 28).
These include a family and healthcare workshop, a photo exhibition depicting the cultural sector’s involvement in family development, a space reserved for public readings, and a variety of folk games.
Addressing the June 27 opening ceremony, Le Thi Tan Trang—Deputy Director of the Municipal Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourismsaid the diverse activities exemplify Hanoi’s determination to faithfully implement the Vietnamese family strategy for between now and 2020. The Prime Minister has already approved the strategy.
Deputy Director Trang added the celebrations also consolidate the primacy of family in the lives of the capital city’s citizens and inspire the fostering of healthy family environments.
