A wide range of special activities will be organised across Vietnam to celebrate International Children’s Day (June 1).
Erix Logan, a well-known Italian illusionist, will visit Vietnam to perform in Hanoi, the northern localities of Quang Ninh and Hai Phong, and Ho Chi Minh City from May 28 to June 2, as part of his Asia tour.
Vietnamese fans of magic, especially children, will have the opportunity to see for the first time his mysterious illusions such as a person floating in snow, one person coming out of another person’s stomach, and cutting a person into hundreds of pieces, which have been receiving big ovations in many countries worldwide.
Renowned soap bubble artist Fan Yang, who has 18 world records, will also return to Vietnam to perform in the central city of Da Nang on May 15.
Yang is considered a genius in the art of making soap bubbles. He broke his own world record for the 17th time by creating a huge soap bubble big enough to contain 181 people in Vancouver, Canada last September.
Besides, domestic artists including famous comedians like Xuan Bac, Tu Long, Van Dung, Hong Ky, Duc Hai and Nguyet Hang are getting ready to entertain children in a number of special programmes.
