Vietnam will do its utmost to boost the friendship and cooperation with Algeria in various fields more effectively, which in turn will contribute to each country’s construction and development, said Minister of Construction Trinh Dinh Dung on November 1.
The Minister made the statement at a reception hosted by Algerian Ambassador to Vietnam Cherif Chikhi in Hanoi to mark the 58th anniversary of Algeria’s National Day and the 50th anniversary of the two countries’ diplomatic ties.
Vietnam highly values the achievements the Algerian Government and people have made over the past time, he said, adding that he is pleased with the fine developments of bilateral relations.
Ambassador Cherif Chikhi expressed his belief that the friendship and solidarity between Vietnam and Algeria, which was initiated from their struggles for national independence, will continue to be fostered, for the benefits of the two peoples as well as peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world at large.
He emphasised great prospects for bilateral cooperation in the future as both countries boast abundant economic potentials and on-going bilateral projects.
