HCMC – Khaisilk Corp. will tomorrow put into operation the TajmaSago Resort on Phan Van Chuong Street in Phu My Hung new urban area in District 7, after one year of construction.
TajmaSago is a boutique resort modeled after the Taj Mahal Temple in India. The resort consisting of 19 rooms with one 200-square-meter presidential suite targets rich local and foreign customers coming to HCMC for work.
The room price, with a discount of 30% on the occasion of opening, is around VND4.1 million per night for standard rooms, VND5.3 million for deluxe rooms and VND10.5 million for the presidential suite.
In addition to in-room technical facilities for businessmen, the resort operator will also use deluxe cars of BMW and Audi brands to take customers to the city’s downtown area everyday.
TajmaSago is the firm’s first project in the hotel sector, besides its luxury restaurants in HCMC.
HCMC now has around 11,000 hotel rooms supplied by 13 five-star hotels, 13 four-star hotels, 47 three-star hotels, 167 two-star hotels and 596 one-star hotels.
The future hotel room supply will focus on the luxury segment. The One Ho Chi Minh City twin towers in the city’s commercial district of Bitexco Group, for example, will include a five-star hotel named the Ritz Carlton Hotel with 250 rooms in 2015.
